The Degrees (bachelor and master)
in Environmental and Land Engineering aim at training qualified
technicians with both a solid background in basic engineering
(mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc.) and professional engineering
skills in the areas of environmental protection, land planning
and geo-resources.
Education towards
this goal provides our graduates in Environmental and Land Engineering
with a deep knowledge of environmental phenomena and processes,
with a particular attention to the interactions between man and
environment.
Starting from this background, through the courses of the different
lines of study (Environment, Soil protection, Regional and Urban
planning, Georesources, Geoengineering, Environmental rehabilitation),
graduates in Environmental and Land Engineering will gain abilities
in designing, planning, carrying out and operating works and systems
for environmental control and monitoring, for soil protection,
for the management of waste and environmental, geological and
energetic resources, as well as in evaluating environmental impacts
of plans and projects.
